The interpretation of the recitation is poetic. The scene is filled with emotion. Realistic interpretation. The performer lives in the moment. He emphasizes the action. He identifies himself with the character he interprets, expressing the appropriate feelings. He has a confident, strong voice and intense action.
The choreographic improvisation makes creative use of the whole scene. The dancer moves all around the scene, fills the scene with emotion. He emits truth. He is dancing alive, living in the moment, making the right feelings born in front of the viewer. He shares the deeper and more personal feelings of the character with the public. He often looks with the eyes of a child. He uses more emotion, less logic. The choreography is synchronized with the speed of the recitation.
The centerpiece of the scenography is a raft. Consciously minimal scenography, gives the dancer freedom to move, express and dance.
The dancer is relatively lightly dressed, The costumes of the musicians combine the classic with the modern incorporated into the diachronic character of the project. The costumes of the musicians are in the shades of white and black.
Synchronization of light (intensity and color) with the music and the atmosphere of the art show.
(On-stage backlighting can replace the use of the curtain if this facilitates the show).
Scenography, costume and lighting design is designed by Vasileios Nezis.
